Our Big Move
My husband Mike and our three kids Mark, Matt, and Hannah recently moved to Sydney Australia due to a nursing job I took overseas. My husband mark who is a computer analyst was worried that he would have a very difficult time finding work over there, but I reassured him that with his expertise in the computer field he was bound to find a good job.
Mike began googling Internet providers Australia. He found numerous job openings, so he began to apply. He heard back from a few places but the company he was most interested in was the TPG Internet service providers. Mike set up an interview to speak with TPG. Once he got to the interview they began talking about what he would be doing if he were in fact to get hired.
They told him that since he is so good with computers he would be helping rural areas obtain rural broadband Internet service. Mike was shocked that they did not already have this, but was pleased because he knew a lot about the types of things he was going to be dealing with.
The company TPG had so much to offer one big thing that attracted Mike to this company was that it had a revenue almost marking $500 million dollars annually. In addition the benefits that this company offered Mike were remarkable such as paid time off, sick days, vacation and call in pay. Another thing that Mike really liked about the TPG company was that it was a fairly new company. An advantage of being fairly new is that not all management is set in stone, so it gave Mike the option to grow with in the company headquarters.
When Mike returned back from his first day of work he had a great big smile on his face. So I asked him why he was smiling so big and he simply said I love my job.The people at TPG are so friendly and willing to help me whenever I need their assistance. I’m glad my husband Mike found a home at TPG because I was not about to move back to the United States after landing my dream job.
